A SOLUTION DEVELOPED IN COLLABORATION WITH HEALTH PROFESSIONALS

We are working in collaboration with health professionals who bring their precious expertise at the service of our solution. Professor Hervé Vespignani is one of them, former head of the neurology and neurological functional exploration department at Nancy University Hospital, he is now head of a neurology practice in Nancy.

Features of the M-Cube® solution

Our high performance microprocessor Brainux®, integrated in connected insoles, analyzes patient walking and deliver information to health professionals.

Our device is the first device that is able to:

  • Measure 12 parameters that constitute the walking profile of a person.
  • Follow-up in real time how these parameters are evolving.

For each foot, we measure:

  • Cadence, speed, impact force, stance, pronation/supination at the 4 stages of the contact time (when the foot is on the ground), balance left foot/right foot, flight time (when the foot is in the air), step length, step width…

The treatment process of a disease requires to keep a close eye on the patient. Because of the distance and the communication, it can be difficult for the doctor to follow up patient’s rehabilitation. Thanks to the M-Cube® solution, healthcare professionals will be able to adapt the treatment process by analyzing the results at all time.

  • Disease monitoring: A detailed report of the patient’s walking profile will be sent on a regular basis in order to provide the needed care for the patient according to the variations of the state of progress.
  • Rehabilitation follow-up: Similarly, the rehabilitation sessions can be adapted according to the timely situation of the patient and its evolution.

We all have a unique WPP (Walking Profile Parameters). There are more than 7000 nerve endings in each foot directly connected to the brain. There are many medical studies that explained and proved that there is a direct correlation between the gait analysis and some neurological diseases like Parkinson, Alzheimer, Sclerosis, etc…

Thanks to our technology  M-Cube® solution can detect mobility disorders and therefore aware the patient of a risk of diseases.

Our Brainux® microprocessor, very small and light (just 7 grams) is embedded in the insoles or shoes in order to follow how the WPP are evolving. In this case, we can follow in real time how efficient are some medical treatments on the diseases. We can also have a warning feature for any person (without a particular disease) that is able to detect the beginning of mobility disorder possibly related to the start of a serious disease.

Thanks to the results of gait analysis, the dedicated application will be able to provide the patient with specific exercises to correct a locomotion disorder related to a musculoskeletal training problem (limp, leg X, …). This technology will become a diagnosis tool like a mobile scanner or a simple sphygmomanometer that will watch for your health daily to evaluate how a disease is evolving.
